Mirkovci (Macedonian: Мирковци) is a village in the municipality of Čučer-Sandevo, North Macedonia.

Demographics

According to the 1467-68 Ottoman defter, Mirkovci appears as being inhabited by a Christian Albanian population. Some families had a mixed Slav-Albanian anthroponomy - usually a Slavic first name and an Albanian last name or last names with Albanian patronyms and Slavic suffixes.

The names are: Mark-o son of Gjon, Nikola son of Kond-iç, Oliver son of Sim-ko-s, Pepa son of Nikola, Milosh son of Goja, Niko son of Donko, Dabzhiv son of Dushman, Niko son of Drala, Lazar son of Dushaman, Goja son of Penush, Boj-ka son of Dralin, Dralin son of Petro, Stepan son of Çoçko, Novak son of Çoç-ko, Rel-in son of Gjon, Miretush star (old man), Ton-ka, star (old man), Dral-in siromah (poor), Ton-ka Mirça, Niko son of Dona.[1]

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 969 inhabitants.[2] Ethnic groups in the village include:[2]
