Description

Lykens (U.S. tug, 1899)

Probably photographed at about the time she was taken over for Naval Service. She was acquired by the Navy on 18 September 1917 and commissioned on 10 November 1917 as USS Lykens (SP-876). Reclassified AT-56 in 1920, she was stricken on 21 November 1933 and sold on 3 February 1934.

The original print is in National Archives' Record Group 19-LCM.
