English: Then Minister for Education Olof Palme delivering the first speech in Almedalen Park, Gotland. His annual speeches in Almedalen would lay the ground for the annual Almedalen Week, starting in the 1980's. Standing behind Palme is then Deputy Minister for Finance Krister Wickman.
