Chilean intellectual property law, first published in October 1970, specifies in its 13th article: "Anonymous or pseudonym work protection lasts for thirty years, beginning from its first publication." ("La protección de la obra anónima o seudónima dura treinta años, a contar desde la primera publicación.") Considering this work was created before 1960 its copyright expired, at most, in 1991. In 1992, when the work was already free of copyright, the law was ammended: "Be replaced in the 12th and 13th articles, the expression "thirty years", for "fifty years"."("Reemplázase en los artículos 12 y 13, la expresión "treinta años", por "cincuenta años".") As the work was already in the public domain in its country of origin before 1996, this work is in the public domain in the United States since 1 January of that year.
