Summary

Description

Satellite view of a human-made negative geoglyph, 3.5 kilometres (2.2 miles) long, created c. 1998 near Marree, in the South Australian outback – hence known as Marree Man.

Cut into the ground on a plateau by earthmoving equipment, the geoglyph depicts an Australian Aboriginal hunter with what appears to be a stick or boomerang in his hand.
