This specimen was caught by fishermen off of Spain. Giant squid specimen is courtesy of the Coordinadora para el Estudio y la Protección de las Expecies Marinas (Luarca, Spain), which strives to preserve all giant squid specimens from the waters of Northern Spain. Specimens were prepared by ECOBIOMAR, Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas, Vigo, Spain. |
