Soga Nichokuan's "Eagle on a Rock" ink on paper, c1624-44

"Eagle on a Rock" by en:Soga Nichokuan, active early-mid 17th century (en:Edo Period). This work was probably done between 1624 and 1644. One of a pair of six-panel folding screens, ink on paper. Donated to the en:Museum of Fine Arts, Boston by en:William Sturgis Bigelow in 1911.
