Argentina Menis (born 19 July 1948) is a retired Romanian discus thrower who won silver medals at the 1972 Olympics and 1974 European Athletics Championships. She finished sixth at the 1976 Olympics.[3][4] On 23 September 1972 she set a world record that stood for eight months.[5] After retiring from competitions she worked at her club Dinamo București.[1]

The reason why she is named "Argentina" is still unknown.
